Gaels Look For Port’ In A Storm
By Peter Sweeney on Apr 16, 2010 in Championship, Men's Football

RANELAGH Gaels will be aiming to get back on winning ways against Portobello at Bushy Park this weekend.
The Gaels have already beaten their great Dublin 6 rivals in the league this year, but Sunday’s Dublin Junior C Football Championship clash will be completely different.
A huge test can be expected from Portobello, who were very much under-strength when the teams met earlier in the season.
Ranelagh enjoyed two hugely successful years in 2008 and 2009, securing consecutive promotions, but 2010 has proven a little more difficult so far.
The Gaels have lost their last two matches, one in the league and the other to exit the Stacy Cup, so it’s important to get things back on track this weekend.
Several key players remain out through injury, but manager Liam O’Hagan’s squad is stronger this year than it has ever been before.
Ranelagh have a good record in the Junior C Championship, having made the final once before, so another good run would be welcomed by all at the club.

Good Luck today lads.
