Tarf Challenges Lie Ahead As Gaels Aim To Make Their Mark

RANELAGH Gaels face a make-or-break week with two massive league games within the space of five days.
If the Gaels want to stay in contention for promotion they cannot afford to lose any more matches in AFL Division 8.
First up on Tuesday night are St Mark’s at Bushy Park and then on Friday it’s a cross-town trip to St Anne’s Park to take on high-flying Clontarf. Both games throw-in at 7.45.
Mark’s are an unknown quantity for Ranelagh, but the lads know ‘Tarf only too well having lost to them in the second round of the Dublin Junior C Championship.
The Gaels have picked themselves up well since championship elimination and Liam O’Hagan’s team has delivered a number of excellent performances since then.
They lost in agonising fashion following a great game against Ballyboden St Enda’s, but they backed that up with a tough away win over Erin Go Bragh.
The team have trained well in recent weeks and Liam has a full panel to pick from with a number of injuries clearing up at just the right time.
