The Third Annual Ranelagh Gaels Inter-provincial Tournament was another huge success on Saturday.

Nearly forty players – men and women – took part in the mixed tournament and everyone had a great day.

Teams representing Connacht, Leinster, defending champions Munster and Ulster took part along with a few guest stars from Canada and Poland.

Every team played each other once and this decided the line-up for the final and third place play-off.

Leinster took Munster’s crown with a great second half performance in the final which included two goals from new girl Blaitin Brady.

A short-staffed Ulster team lost to Connacht in the third place play-off and ended up with the wooden spoon.

Everyone then headed back to Smyths in the village for some well earned refreshment.

The club would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who got involved on the day – players, helpers and organisers.
