Gaels Play Their Part in Croker Show

Ranelagh Gaels was represented on the pitch at Croke Park last Sunday as part of the spectacular Laoch show.

Laoch, meaning hero in Irish, was the incredible production staged by the GAA following the Allianz Football League Division 1 final at Headquarters as part of the national 1916 centenary celebrations.

Dave Berney and Jack McKavanagh went along on the day, enjoyed the matches and then afterwards took part in the parade of clubs wearing their carefully selected jerseys (above).

Thanks to both lads for volunteering their time to take part and also to the GAA for inviting every club to be involved.
