Ranelagh Gaels men’s team return to training on Tuesday, January 17 at 7.30pm in Wesley College, Ballinteer.
New players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are welcome to join in as are older Gaels who haven’t togged out in a few seasons – now’s the time to get involved!
Training will be on grass under lights so bring football boots, football gloves, water and a mouth guard (which are compulsory in all GAA training sessions and games).
To find the pitch, just drive/cycle/walk in the main Wesley College entrance off the roundabout at the start of Ballinteer Avenue (near the Dundrum Shopping Centre). Follow the route marked on the map below to the car park at the back of the school. Then walk up the path that runs between the hockey pitches and the perimeter wall to the floodlit pitch.
We will only train once this week and from next week on we will train twice a week. Final details of our full pre-season schedule are being finalised currently and will be available here on this website in the coming days.
The competitive season starts in mid-February with Cup games while Division 8 of the League swings into action in early March.
