Gaelic for Mothers and Others

Gaelic for Mothers and Others is coming to Ranelagh Gaels!

This is a fun, non-competitive form of women’s football and is open to all women of 21-years-or-older who aren’t currently registered as a player with an LGFA club.

No experience of Gaelic football is required. The main idea is to have fun while getting some exercise, learning new skills and making new friends.

Sessions start in UCD opposite the Sports Centre near the Clonskeagh entrance on Thursday, September 20 at 7.30. Sessions last for one hour and the initiative will run for six weeks initially.

Everyone is welcome along to take part – you don’t have to be a member of Ranelagh Gaels. We’d be delighted to see you come along so don’t be shy!

Wear football boots if you have them, though runners will do, and tracksuit/tee-shirt and shorts. Bring water and a mouthguard (available at many pharmacies) is advisable. Participants take part at their own risk.

  1. Hi,
Is Gaelic for Mothers and Others still part of Ranelagh Gaels club schedule? I live locally and would be interested in taking part.
