Ranelagh Gaels suffered their heaviest defeat all season on Sunday losing by nine points against Ballinteer St John’s, effectively switching the lights off on any thoughts of promotion.
The Gaels, who were controversially defeated on Tuesday, needed to bounce back swiftly to maintain their dwindling promotion challenge, however this was not to be the case.

RANELAGH Gaels didn’t know how to feel as they left St Anne’s Park with a point in the bag last Friday night.
